Australia launches COVID-19 contact tracing app COVIDSafe. Already more than 1 million people have downloaded this app . The COVIDSafe Coronavirus contact tracing app uses Bluetooth wireless technology to exchange a handshake with other user's smartphones when they come within 1.5 meters or approximately 4.9 feet.   Then the app keeps the log and notifies the user if they have had more then 15 minutes of contact with other people. 6,694 confirmed coronavirus cases and 80 deaths from the coronavirus so far in Australia.
